- Ben and Summer have 4 children – Oscar (14), Luke (12), Juliet (9), and Natalie (7)
- Summer graduated in 2000 after being homeschooled for the entirety of her education
- Summer now homeschools their children
Because Summer grew up in a large family, working with children has been a part of her life from a young age. The Lord fanned the flame as she grew, and her heart for making disciples of children began to develop. After graduating from high school, she traveled the east coast, teaching week-long children’s conferences and receiving training along the way. Her passion grew and years later, she committed 17 years to weekly service with elementary-aged children in the Awana program at her local church. She now commits time and focus to the children at Providence Community Church, making it her goal that the children know God’s love for them, grow in their love for Him, and become confident in the foundational truths of the inerrant, infallible Word of God.
