Let’s make it short and sweet.
The serpent didn’t tempt Adam and Eve to steal, to kill, or
to commit adultery; he simply tempted them to question God’s
Word.
Vance Havner said, “People tell me they can’t understand
the Bible. “I tell them, “It’s not the things in the Bible that I can’t
understand that troubles me. It’s the things I do understand
that challenges me and convicts me and prompts me to move
on up with Jesus.”
The Bible wasn’t written by God to us. The Bible was written
by God for us. It’s a good book. Pick it up and read it some time.
