As believers we need the church. I agree with John MacArthur
when he said, “The need for fellowship is even greater as we
draw near to the return of Christ. The shepherdess flock won’t
thrive; it’ll scatter. And the rogue sheep is easy prey for wolves.
Faithful fellowship helps insulate you from the influence of a world
that’s sprinting to hell.”
As a long time pastor I want to encourage you to see the red
flags and warning signs . This is not the time for giving up. It is the
time for digging in. Hebrews says, “Don’t forsake the assembling
of your selves together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging
one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.”
May I also remind you that Jesus loves the church and bought
her with His own blood. Selah
