One of my favorites is Charles Spurgeon. It’s interesting how
often he says what I feel, but can’t put into words. May I
share one of those with you?
“You may fear that the Lord has passed you by, but it is
not so; He who counts the stars, and calls them by their
names, is in no danger of forgetting His children. He knows
your case as thoroughly as if you were the only creature He
ever made, or the only saint He ever loved.”
I really love the J.B. Phillips paraphrase of 1 Peter 5.7. It goes:
“You can throw the whole weight of your anxieties upon
Him, for you are His personal concern.”
Just a thought.
