Busy, busy, busy. Everybody is far too busy. How did we get to
this place? We are too pressed in by the progress of time.
An old southern gentleman told his friend, “I used to come over
to your town quite often in the old days. It was a round trip by horse
and buggy. I can do it now in an hour…but I don’t have the time.”
That sums up the tempo and the tragedy of these trying times.
We don’t even have the time to “take time to be holy” either. Maybe
it’s a good time to change some priorities.
